Heartland Music Therapy Services is an organization based in Cody, Wyoming. Our main provision is to perform on-site clinical music therapy service in various settings throughout Park County, working with children, young people, adults, families, elderly, hospitalized and terminally ill people with various diagnoses.
We also provide music therapy services to the communities outside Park County which will be run through our on-going outreach program.
In addition to our clinical service, we also perform educational services in music and music therapy to the public under Alpha Bell Music Service and Heartland Music Therapy Learning Center.

About Patricia Wormington
I am a Registered Music Therapist and the Founder of Heartland Music Therapy Services. I received my master degree in music therapy from Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge UK and the certification as a Neurologic Music Therapist Fellow from Colorado State University. I have been working as a music therapist for 14 years with the experiences as the Head of Music Therapy Department under Warwickshire County Music Service, a Music Therapy Supervisor and as a Postgraduate Music Therapy Course Tutor under The Music Thearapy Trust India.
I have provided music therapy service to hundreds of individuals with special needs since 2001. I have worked with children, teenagers, adults and elderly people in various settings. My clinical experiences are working with the clients with autism, developmental delays, cognitive and physical disabilities, mental health problem, speech and hearing impairment, dementia and life-threathening condition.
I am member of British Association for Music Therapy, American Music Therapy Association, World Federation of Music Therapy, The Center for Biomedical Research in Music and UK Health and Care Professions Council. I have traveled and attended many conferences and presented music therapy papers in the US, Canada, Australia, Netherland, India, Indonesia and the UK. In 2013 I received 2 scholarships from American Music Therapy Association for pursuing further continuing professional development in music therapy. Outside music therapy work, I also pursue my passion of teaching guitar, piano and singing for children and adults.
